These have been hanging on my waterlogged deck for over a month--a wonderful pop of color. They're bright and look like they'll last several seasons. We added a string of red LEDs and a couple of white LED stars (also corded). It's a nice combination and gives a pop of life and color. You could consider them Valentine's or Lunar New Year's decor, we consider it an antidote to "The Big Dark" up here in the pacific northwest.
