These tiny little things are very effectiveWorks wellI used these for a 22 inch Flocked Christmas wreath hanging on my front door- one that doesn't get much light for solar etc. Even with the bronze wire, they blended into the flocked ends great.And I had accidentally left them on overnight- the cheap batteries I used actually had some juice left...it's safe to say, they are not power hogs. That's a huge plus. I only wish they had a bigger on/off switch and easier access to the battery panel...the screws are TINY.Anyhow, they are GREAT, especially for the price.As I said before just what I was looking for.Bought these for use on my Norfolk Pine mini Christmas tree. The lights have a pleasant warm glow to them, but also have a less than pleasant occasional flickering to them. I found that extended use typically has the lights flickering more, so I ended up only turning these on for a couple hours at a time or if I had guests over.I was excited to find these online for a decent price. When I got them, removing the battery plastic thingamajig so the battery can work basically messed with the flimsy plastic holder of the battery. I was in an emergency situation as we were decorating for a party so I had to paperclip and masking tape the holder together so it can work. Even so the lights would flicker and I’d have to touch them to make them work. There was no time to return. I don’t know if I got a faulty pair or if his is the quality. Either way I’m not in need of another pair. I just wish I hadn’t wasted my money. Also it said something about a remote control and timer. As far as I know it didn’t come with that or it wasn’t included. I have no idea.So, I wanted to add just a little pizzazz to my informal dining room/breakfast nook, and these were the perfect addition!Installation was incredibly easy, they add a great, soft light, and are really easy to use.There are a ton of things you can do with these, but I added them into a vase with real looking tulips I also found on amazon. I used two of them in the vase, and arranged it so the controllers aren’t visible, but easy to access.Not sure how long the battery lasts for, as I’ve only had them for a little over a month now, but I use them regularly and they haven’t showed any signs of slowing down.I could see these working out for all kinds of projects and DIY stuff, since they’re so easy to use. If I need these again ( I’m sure I will), I plan on purchasing this brand.I was surprised by how bright these lights are, and was happy to add them to my twin daughters’ bed frames. I was hoping to use them to replace their lamp that they keep on at night, but unfortunately, the switch and the wires were easily separated. I think it can be repaired by unscrewing the panel on the switch.If purchasing, definitely secure the switch, if the lights are not being placed inside of an object.Died a week after I bought it. Took a few mins to set it up because it's so delicate and gets tangled easily. Then it just stopped working. I even bought batteries thinking they went out, but when I replaced them they still didn't work. Save your $$I love them
