I was shocked at how tiny the package was and didn't think the little reel would work. But I was very wrong! Fantastic brightness. Easy to use. I didn't bother with the remote so I can't review that. But VERY happy with my results!These are nice and bright. I have them on a timer so I dont use the remote. I got them in blue and they look beautiful at night.I bought these because the description said, "UL approved US standard adapter, output voltage of the mains plug is DC 12V, and its power consumption is only 6W..."I have 12VDC at my mailbox to power things like lights and bought them specifically because it said they were 12VDC. When they arrived I found that they are actually 4.5VDC and that is what it says in the technical description. So conflicting information.The plug is a strange proprietary mix of standard plugs.I can still use them by transforming down to 4.5V, but I was trying to avoid that. There were other lights I might have bought at a different voltage.This is probably not a problem for most since you will be using the plug that came with the item.So far I have only plugged them in briefly and they are beautiful. Time will tell how well the copper wire lasts. I will update if anything changes.I didn’t rate the remote control or timer because I don’t utilize them. But the lights are very pretty and I am happy with them. I put it on a faux bamboo tree in the family happy room and when I turn them on, it really puts out a pretty delicate light.Very cute. The one tree didn’t come with the remote. However, I called Amazon and they didn’t hesitate to send out a remote. They are nice lights. Our kids love them.Love that I can plug in and they stay lit outside with any weather. Outlight in house and they have long wires so they go from outlet under door to outside. All different sequence of lights, blinking, phasing, steady. I change each night during the holidays. Great lights!They give off a good amount of light from our deck.The lights themselves are fine, but I ordered these particular lights because it showed that it came with a remote. It did not. I also ordered another set that DID come with the remote, but the remote doesn't actually work. When using the customer service chat and clicking "send replacement" there was not one available for either product and I only had the option to return for refund.There is no remote control included. Although pictures describe is well, just follow the description, where it is stated included : cable and power adapter.I don’t recommand it because of false advertising, showing pictures which do not clearly represent the product…What you see is not always what you get, and this is a perfect example…We strung them down the length of our 250ft driveway on the rail posts, on a timer, they light up the driveway, the walkway and look great, along with the safety factor, the white lights look warm and inviting.This has been a rare good purchase on our part.What do you see in the picture is not what you get. The picture shows that you got a remote control. You do not with this particular one that I received. However I do like the lights and I am not returning them.The light are nice and bright bit I was hoping they would have a flashing setting. There is no remote included like in the photo.This lights are very bright. Comes well packaged and is very easy to assemble. You just need to screw the connection wire onto the included plug.The only fault with this, and it was stated upfront, is that the plug connection is not weather proof. If you are using this set outdoors, make sure the plug is covered.
