I find the idle screw to be weak with heat and the fact two strokes vibrate I decided to go ahead and upgrade it. Go to hardware store it's a basic spring found on chainsaws, weed eaters, or tillers. This little dirt bike is awesome he loves it. I also bought a motor awhile back planning to build a gokart, but it mounts right up so if he outgrows or breaks the stock motor no worries. The upgraded motor was 200.00 and reaches speeds up to 45 mph. Good purchase ? and good luck
