With this part now I am freed from the restriction of needing to use only rear shocks that fit the "Brain" Specialized mounting system where the fox rear shock is specially made and has a bolt sticking out of the end of the shock that travels, instead of the standard eyelet that is has on the other end. In the instructions it gives you the equivalent eye to eye and travel to look for when getting a replacement shock. Which in my case it is the newer system of "Metric" sizing. So basically instead of wierd SAE inch measurement like 7.874 or 8.329, Now it is 190mm 185 mm etc. You just have to bite the bullet and pay up the $130 for a simple "U" shaped piece of metal (it is nicely machined), So far so good
