Eurobike XC550 Road Bike - 21 Speed Men's & Women's Bicycle (49cm/54cm/XL) - 700C Gravel Bike with Multi-Style Wheels & Colors - Perfect for Commuting, Fitness & Adventure Riding

I have been looking for a road bike for some time, and was not yet ready to commit to a $700+ bike (or more based on some of the local bike shops). I came across this bike and based on the reviews, I decided to purchase. I didn't have any issues with shipping, nothing was delayed and the bike arrived fine. Nothing was damaged, nothing was missing, and honestly, it took about 20 minutes to put it together. Overall, I like the bike BUT there are some things that I do not like. For me, it feels that the handle bars are more of a "reach" than a better made road bike (like a Soma, etc). In the picture I posted, you'll notice that I have the handle bars angled up -- and this was to show how I had to lift them to feel more normal (of a reach). I put them back to a normal position and seeing if I can get used to it. Also, the brakes seem to also be more of a "reach" when using them - and this is not the normal feeling on a better bike. Overall, for a bike to ride around the neighborhood, bike trails, etc I am sure it will be fine. However, if you are looking for a bike that you'll do 10+ miles, on busy streets, etc I would recommend to get saving for a little longer and invest in a $700+ name brand bike.The bike has been good so far. Purchased the Aero Spoke version. Have recieved a ton of compliments on it because it looks rad! The assembly was straight forward took about 30mins. The problem I had was the seat everything else was in good condition when it arrived but the Seat was defective on arrival as the Seat rail had popped out of its socket and there was no way to put it back together. I had to purchase another Seat which is pretty upsetting since one would like to be able to ride there bike straight out of the box. Also once the bike was put together, you definetly have to tune it, tighten everything down, and lubricate all parts. I also recommend purchasing a better seat and better set of pedals it makes a world of difference. Another inconvenience but not a deal breaker the tire tube is also a Special size being 700c X 28c with a 80mm Schrader Valve and they are a a pain to find other than online. Other than that the bike has been great. Rides just fine for a commuter and good for entry road bike. You'll definetly get a ton of compliments on it and the build quality is good.Salir Sabados y Domingos en las mañanas a ejercitarme con esta Bici es placentero y divertido.This is a cheap bike hence need some works and help from experience biker. Shifter is a two speed but they installed it with 3 speed crank so need to make some maker for it but no click like a real 3 speed shifter. No help for this and they just offer return or instruction for tuning but this is not a tuning issue. Beware, no real support for issues. Just paper instruction or return options. Don’t consider this if you dont have any help in your family or friends that know how to modified or repair bikes.Well, after fiddling around with the disc brake friction until I got it to not rub, I hopped on a few moments ago to take it for a spin! Smooth! I was Leary about the frame size being 54cm and I’m 6’0 however I fit perfect on it... I just moved the seat back a bit and I’m comfortable.The only thing is the gears...when I shift them, the whole thing moves... but not a big deal. Love the bike!UPDATE: 08/2020Ok, I’ve been consistently riding this bike since May of this year.1) I ride pretty regular and do long distance so after about three weeks, I had to buy new tires.2) The left crank arm bolt keeps loosening. A repair shop told me I very well may need a bottom bracket replacement. In the meantime I bought some Locktite Glue to secure it.3) The seat is trash - has to buy a better one.But I will say when I’m not having the issue with the left crank bolt loosening, I have a great time riding it and I do about average 10-20 miles on any given rideStarted road bike it is! But as some of my more expert cyclists told me... when you buy a QUALITY road bike, you shouldn’t have to replace anything on it which is why you pay good money for a bike to avoid that.So my next bike, I’ll either buy top of the line new or used.-Overall, The bike Is decently priced, 200$ for any bike that is decently comfortable is pretty good considering most good beginner bicycles run about 600-700$. I use this on a trainer so it never see the actual road. I'd expect some work will need to be done when it arrives, Mine came with shifting/indexing just fine, brakes needed adjustments and wheels will needed to be trued.Pros--Pretty smooth and comfortable ride.Cons--This bike is steel, its pretty heavy.-the grease that comes on the bearings is pretty bad, I'd recommend changing it out.-The seat is pretty cheap plastic, Recommend changing it out.-Brake pads are pretty hard and don't stop well, recommend changing them out.Excellent light weight bike and is perfect for my height 5'2. I love all the graphic in it and very good quality.Bought this bike a few months back and I have not had the best experience. Switching gears is not smooth. Chain keeps scraping on the jockey wheel and the overall comfort of this bike is not ideal.
