Short review: The lights are bright, portable and 1 controller controls them all (you get 4 tho). Cons: even though you get to customize a lot of colours, they dont really look "natural" (like a soft white "cafe" style lights). All in all they still get the job done, look good and are a good value.Detailed Review: For the price, these lights are pretty good. You get 4 lights and 4 controllers for each lights even though 1 controller is capable to control all the lights. All you got to do is directly point the controller to the light you want to control and it'll do what you want. The pros are the lights are versatile and bright. I have a small water feature surrounded by greenery in my back yard and so I used 2 lights for the water feature and 2 for the greenery surrounding it and it looks really nice. The rainbow strobe feature is nice, at least to my parents, but to me as a professional designer it looks a bit tacky. The colours look very artificial and is something you can definitely expect from a made-in-china product. BUT the colours are bright and the lights work even when submerged in water over and over again. I would recommend buying a pack of AAA batteries because its not included in the pack of lights and you need 3 for each light (4 lights are included). But whats nice is you get 4 controllers (with batteries pre-installed for each controller) for each light but the cool thing is you only need 1 controller to control each light. All you need to do is point the controller directly to each light. You also get to choose from a variety of light options. From consistent to strobe or flashing or smooth transition it all works. Although the brightness feature doesn't really work on my pack BUT its already bright enough so I'm not that miffed about it.Cons: Like mentioned before, the colours are very artificial looking. If you were hoping for soft, orange-like light colour just like you would imagine in a french provancial cafe, thats not what your gonna get in these lights. Even when you choose the pre-set orange soft colour the light doenst have that same soft glow. Which is a shame because thats what I was hoping to get PLUS all the other colours of the rainbow. Another minor con is that the batteries are not included. so if you do the math if you need 3 batteries for each of the 4 lights that are included you need 12 AAA batteries. And the last con, at least for me, is that this isn't an American made product. I have no issue at all that its made in China, but as someone who likes to support American manufacturing while I can this is typical Chinese plastic quality. BUT again it gets the job done. so in the end thats all that matters. All in all, these lights do the job and are reliable. They work, are bright, and are reliable. They may not have the colour depth that make it look "instagramable" BUT they definitely add value to any setting and I'm content with my purchaseOne of my lights doesn’t work at all but the other 3 are perfect! Is there a way to have one replaced without returning the whole order? If you're getting these for a above ground pool I would recommend the ones with the magnets or just go to your local hardware store and buy some like I did. Otherwise great for the price. Battery life depends on which name brand you buy.One out of the four seals did not keep pool water out (we used the magnets on the back of the light to stick it to the wall under the water line about 1 foot) So one died in less than 24 hours of use. Not happy. Initially the remote synced all 4 lights and seemed to work well with the lights out of water but after 24 hours under water I had to hold the remote about 1 foot away for each to work. I’d recommend NOT keeping them in the pool and taking batteries out between uses. Also I’d turn them all on in a group OUT of the water, get the settings (brightness, strobe, fade, colors etc) like I want THEN put them under water. I’d buy again since there’s really not another good inexpensive option I could find.I have used these at a big wedding to spice up the appearance of flower vases, swimming pool, and other misc. use. Very cool. A bit hard to get into, but watertightness is good, battery life accceptable. the remotes don't work so well on some of them. Last 2 I ordered, when I hit the "Red" button, only one turns red, the other.....not so much. But for the price, very cool. Can’t totally bash these lights but after the first set of batteries, 1 won’t respond to the remote anymore. Opened it up and it’s dry inside but there’s definitely scorch marks on the board. Also, when submerged, remote frequency is garbage. I have to walk around the pool going light to light to turn on or change the colors. Guess you get what you pay for but I would definitely pay more for a better quality version of these. The lights a controller work great! The only complaint i have is once you drop them down in water and they sink to bottom you can no longers use controller ?Got these for gentler lighting in the hospital room for our child's birth, and one didn't work properly out of the box, and since then they're unreliable because the battery compartment is too loose to hold batteries in place properly.Bought some of these off of wish and they were great, still working as the day i bought them over a year ago. Decided to buy these (different seller) i am having problems with them. Three will turn on with the remote. the other 1 you have to unscrew and take the batteries out and put them back in to get it to come on. The colours won't change on some either. You literally have to be next to it for the remote to work unlike the ones i bought last year from wish. Not satisfied with these at all. Will be ordering these again from the same seller as last time, i just have to wait a little longer for them to come in but worth it.If your kids hate baths, this could be a game changer. And if they love baths, this will blow their minds. We've used it for 4 baths so far and they still work so that's a good sign.NO DURAN PRENDIDADAS EN LA FUENTE, SE APAGAN, LAS VUELVO A PRENDER Y SE VUELVEN A APAGAR AUN TENIENDO PILAS NUEVAS. NO RECOMIENDO ESTE PRODUCTO. LAMENTO HABER COMPRADO DICHAS LAMPARAS SUMERGIBLES.These work well for the money, the batteries die with in 9-12 hours of use. And when they begin to get low( the point where you don’t quite notice they are not as bright) they stop responding to the remote and won’t turn on until you give them brand new batteries.
