I liked my R1 Juin Tech brakes so much I bought this set of M1 brakes. I installed them just before my last loaded tour on my recumbent and they proved to have great stopping power. Color choices, easy installation & adjustment, great stopping power, and easy on the pocketbook are the reasons to purchase Juin Tech brakesets.Fits Rad Runner 2. Front brake rotor had to be replaced with the Juin Tech one included to fit, but the back brake fit on the original rotor.Feels much safer and stable on steep hills, and don't have to constantly adjust. Going from mechanic to semi hydraulic has been the best upgrade so far. Less noise, no vibrations, consistent braking even when rotors are very hot.Installation was straight forward. Very easy, but had to try a couple of adapters to see which works. Someone with very minimal knowledge could put it on.+ 30% ease of braking+100% confidence that I can stop quick / lock out my wheelsAs stated in headline, inside surface rubbed spokes. Filed inboard surface. Do this with a fine flat file. Check for fit often, don't remove too much. That done, these brakes are great, My Lectric 2.0 stops much better and no noise. The best modification so far on the bike.I have a Rad Rover 5 (70 pounds) and I’m 220 pounds. I finally have the confidence that I can stop quickly when I need to. This is the best money I’ve spent upgrading components on my bike!I installed these on a mountain bike I bought from Wal-Mart that had terrible brakes and wow what a huge difference, it was a direct bolt on replacement for the stock ones. I'm 275lbs and I can now brake with full confidence. 10/10, would definitely recommend.Fits well on my KBO breeze step through. It is a definite upgrade and improves stopping power significantly.Brakes work well and retain adjustment...no rubbingthe calipers indicate 160mm front and 140mm rearbut the kit comes with 2 160mm rotors. I had to ordera 140mm rear rotor separately to make it work.Otherwise great so far.A great upgrade to my Himiway cruiser. Much better breaking ability & no squeek vs the OEM. A bit pricey, but for the added safety a worthy investment.
