First off- these are battery operated- which it clearly says but I didn’t notice so they wouldn’t work where I wanted them to be.They are shatterproof- definitely plastic, and the lights pop off pretty easily. I suppose if you wanted to change out the light or redecorate the inside of the bulb you could. The gold star tinsel inside casts a soft starry shadow that is super chill and pleasant. These aren’t bright, and it feels a little short so I’m having trouble finding a place to put it where it won’t look too sparse with just the one.There doesn’t seem to be a way to connect it to another set to lengthen it that way, and the battery casing conductors don’t seem super secure so it takes a little fussing to make sure when it’s ‘on’ the circuit is actually complete.That said they are entrancing to my 3 year old, my self, and the baby so we’ll have to figure something out with them as my original plan won’t work. They’re too pretty to just gather dust.They are okay to use outside but they shed the glitter too much so Idk how long it going to last and indoor using it terrible idea. Its got into my carpet and it took forever to clean that up.
