This is a pretty basic trunk, but it's HUGE! You could stuff a body in it. That is good. The not so good part is that it is NOT a Harley trunk. Is is way thinner material, and the latches suck. If you need a trunk for occasional use, and are willing to check the tiny bolts holding it onto the trunk, then it will probably work for you. If you want to permanently mount a trunk and use it daily, spring for an OEM Harley Davidson trunk. One thing to remember, Mutazu will not replace anything that goes bad for free. The FIRST thing their website says is to "Remember this is not an OEM product and will not perform like one" They know it's a cheaper trunk, and market it that way. They will offer you a discount on parts, but honestly, if anything on this fails at highway speed, it will probably not be repairable. I am going to go ahead and mount this for long trips, but I don't really expect it to have much longevity. Though it is significantly cheaper than an OEM HD trunk, I will replace this with an OEM trunk after it fails. And I'm pretty sure it will.DO NOT purchase this product, it is a Joke! Within 1 week of putting this on my bike, the backrest came off and flew off on the highway. 2 weeks later, the latches failed, coming unlolcked, which caused the lid to open at highway speeds.......this nearly caused me to fall off of the bike, not to mention that all of my belongings in the trunk flew out all over the highway. This product is very cheaply made all the way around, very cheap and unreliable hardware, and the shell is extremely flimsy.I contacted MUTAZU, however they would offer no help, only stating that they would give me a discount on new parts, lol. So I am going to have to apy another $200 to fix something that was junk to begin with?? Seroiusly??Their response was that this is cheaper than an OEM part, so customers should understand that. LOL!I don't care if it is cheaper, you still need to stand by and sell a quality product, and clearly this is NOT of any quality!!!DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!Very overpriced. All 3 mounts for the backrest pad broke off within a couple months. The hinges and clasps are very weak and need to be thread locked. Even the tail light housings are falling apart and need constant attention. And the weather seal doesn't even make contact with the bottom half of the case. Low quality everything.Nice tour pack for the money a faction of the cost of a HD Trunk . Not as heavy as HD. I am not sorry I bought I love the space it has in it.Good quality, fast delievery .Great productJust pure JUNK....Not worth filling with dog food to feed my dog out of..DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEYI did have to put some padding around inside of cover it rattled
